This program allows the dancers to participate in extra dance activities such as solos, duets, and group dances
Dancers of the competitive division are expected to work to their best ability each and every class. The tone of the classes will be more serious with a focus on improvement and advancement to the next level. Dancers must treat each other, the staff, the facility and themselves with respect at all times.
Dancers are grouped together based on their ability NOT age and/or body type. Classes can be combined or deleted based on enrollment.
Ballet 5-6: All our Ballet Dancers will be trained using the Cecchetti Method of Ballet. The Cecchetti Method of ballet is a style of classical, theatrical dance based on the teachings of the great Italian ballet master Enrico Cecchetti (1850-1928). The Cecchetti tradition of teaching maintains the balances and proportions of the human body, poised and in movement. The Cecchetti practice creates co-ordination of arms, legs, and head. Study in this method produces a wonderful fluidity of movement, particularly in the upper body with an incredible strength in the lower body.
Non Sylabus Ballet: This class is a must for Dancers Ballet 3 level and higher wishing to gain further technical expertise.
